State Funeral Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September

Queen Elizabeth II

On Monday 19th of September 2022, in the morning, the world paid their final respect to Queen Elizabeth II at the Westminster Abbey. The Service was serene with soulful hymns and readings consoling those who were present and those who were watching virtually. Mrs Trupti Patel, President of the HFB, attended the State funeral of the Queen representing the Hindu community at the Westminster Abbey. She offered prayers on behalf of many who requested her.

The UK Hindu community grieved with the Royal family during these 11 days, the task of supporting and consoling many devotees and families from Hindu community was only possible with the volunteers from Temples across the country who offered prayer service at their Mandirs and also attended many multifaith services during the official mourning period.

We offer our prayers.
Om Shanti
